Waves DAO (3PEwRcYNAUtoFvKpBhKoiwajnZfdoDR6h4h) leases the WAVES it holds to generator nodes, and the PWR committed to the DAO decides how that stake is split. Every committer votes for a node, and the weight behind each node is what this metric follows.

Since 6 October 2026 the DAO only leases to nodes that have turned on sharing (sharing_enabled on the node's own account), splitting the lease among them by their votes. A node without it keeps its votes but gets no lease, and is marked "sharing off" in the vote chart.

Share of Lease Vote shows what percentage of the vote each node held over time. A node's share is its own vote weight divided by the total voting on the lease, so the bands always add up to 100%. A band widening without the node gaining votes means the others lost them.

Leased WAVES shows what the vote actually turned into. The DAO redistributes its lease in batches: each round cancels the lease to every node and opens a new one sized to the share it had just won, so the steps line up with the redistributions rather than with the votes themselves.

Leases the DAO opened outside a redistribution are drawn as lines of their own rather than added to the node's, so a node that holds WAVES for some other reason does not read as having won more of the vote than it did. They are far larger than what the vote hands out, so they start switched off — turn one on from the legend to see it.

A redistribution cancels each lease a block or two before opening its replacement. That gap is left out of the chart: drawn as it stands, it reads as the DAO's whole stake dropping to zero and back at every rebalance.

Rewards Paid by Leased Nodes adds up what each node has sent the DAO for its lease, as it does for any other leaser. UNIT0 a node shares is counted in WAVES at its price when it was paid; tokens a node issues itself have no price and are left out.

Lease APY per Node sets those rewards against what the DAO actually had leased to the node at the time, not what it holds today. Each point covers the 30 days up to a payout: the payouts in it, compounded, over the DAO's average lease to the node across those days, the same way the generators table measures a node's APY. The lease is counted the way Waves counts it towards generating: a lease only earns once it has stood for 1000 blocks (about 17 hours), and a cancel stops it at once. Before the October upgrade a redistribution opened each new lease a block after cancelling the old one, so those 1000 blocks were lost at every rebalance; they are not counted against the node. A node's line starts once it has held the lease for 30 days and ends when it loses it, since payouts arrive after the blocks they pay for and a window across either edge would set them against the wrong lease. Standing leases are left out: their rewards are not paid to the DAO.
