Waves DAO (3PEwRcYNAUtoFvKpBhKoiwajnZfdoDR6h4h) leases the WAVES it holds to generator nodes, and the PWR committed to the DAO decides how that stake is split. Every committer votes for a node, and the weight behind each node is what this metric follows.
Share of Lease Vote shows what percentage of the vote each node held over time. A node's share is its own vote weight divided by the total voting on the lease, so the bands always add up to 100%. A band widening without the node gaining votes means the others lost them.
Leased WAVES shows what the vote actually turned into. The DAO redistributes its lease in batches: each round cancels the lease to every node and opens a new one sized to the share it had just won, so the steps line up with the redistributions rather than with the votes themselves.
Leases the DAO opened outside a redistribution are drawn as lines of their own rather than added to the node's, so a node that holds WAVES for some other reason does not read as having won more of the vote than it did. They are far larger than what the vote hands out, so they start switched off — turn one on from the legend to see it.
A redistribution cancels each lease a block or two before opening its replacement. That gap is left out of the chart: drawn as it stands, it reads as the DAO's whole stake dropping to zero and back at every rebalance.
